I have tried for Part BOM & Part CAD, but it is allowing me to add both for same parent part.

Any best practice tips to clean up orphaned files in the Global Files Container?

Hi community,

on a regular basic I clean up orphaned files. Typically these are files that were used in a relationship or file property item.

But we have another type of files -> images and thumbnails. If thumbnails are not referenced any more, they are not marked as orphaned. They stay in the Global Files Container. We cannot use the locator to check if the files are still used.

What is the best way to get and overview of these files?

I am already able to find orphaned thumbnails of Parts via SQL.

But I noticed that it´s dangerous to only check the "Part" Item Type. The "Image" property is used more than 30 ItemTypes. Just because my orphaned image isn´t use in a Part, doesn´t mean it isn´t use in a mpp_Tool

So I wonder if my current approach to get the files via SQL is really the best approach.

Does anyone have a better idea?

Hello Team,

I'm trying to update the value of the "Reconciliation Status" column, which is being populated via the method mpp_GetBomTreeGrid. However, I am unable to locate the mapping between the key mpp_mbomGridHeader_reconcilationStatus and the actual value that appears in the "Reconciliation Status" column.

Aras search grid edit OOTB issue

Hello Team,

I have observed that when I try to check a Boolean property value as true from the main search grid window, it does not update correctly. On the server side, we are receiving the value as true instead of 1. Is there any workaround for this?

Hello All,
I created the rule inside the rule editor for a particular variability item. When I try to look this particular rule in the database perspective, there is one column named as 'definition' in the VM_RULE table. This column is mandatory column and it has the XML data of that particular rule.

My question here is, I want to know the sequence of methods from UI side which are getting triggered too create such XML. Could you please help me out here ?

How to check my schedular is running?

Hi,

I have a method that need to run via schedular on every 1 minute. I need to check and hold the schedular until previous trigger (schedular execution) got completed.

if the previous schedular execution is in process then we got error for next trigger, i.e. SQL transection error.

Please suggest how to overcome this situation. I do not want to increase the schedular frequency.

Javascript method to set the default value in search grid?

We need to limit the search results of "Document" item for certain identity.

The default value of "Classification" should be prefilled to "General" and should be unchangeable by the user.

I was thinking if I can get the current identity of the user and then call a function that would prefill the "Classification" to "General" and make it uneditable.

I have a code for finding the identity of the user. I need to know how to target the "Classification" field of "Document" item type in the search grid view

Hello,

I'm Using Aras Version 12.0 Build: 13341.

I'm able to login by using Firefox browser. But if i'm trying to login from either IE or Chrome it is not showing any error message but again login page is opening. I have checked in Network it is showing 302 status code.
