How start start Aras in German Language

Hello,

I have installed German language pack in Aras .

Once the pack is installed I did the changes in web.config file (<globalization requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" culture="de-DE" uiCulture="de-DE" />). I have commented culture="en-US" line.

After doing these changes I restarted the IIS . After hitting the login url, I am not getting login page in German language and also entire menu is coming as default.

Can anyone let me know how to start the Aras client in German locale.

Is it possible to show only items created by a user, when that user login to aras

Hello Experts,

We need to implement a scenario where in only Items created by the logged in user should be visible to him when the user put * in the simple search.

For example if the user go and clicks on ECN Item type, and he puts * in the name field then select simple search. When the search is performed only ECN created by him should be displayed in the query result.

tracking the history of an item

Hello Experts,

Is there any way to hide the real name of the property and only show the label in the comment section of Item History.

For example right now in the comment column it is shown as cust_team_size: "20" > "25" where cust_team_size is the real name of the property whose label is Team Size.

In the Item History comment column, I want Team Size: "20" > "25".

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Disabling a field of type Text Area

Hello Experts,

I need to disable a field of type Text Area. I am using the below code on form populate event

var input1 = getFieldByName("Test_Text_Area");
setTimeout(function() {
input1 .getElementsByTagName("input")[0].disabled = true;
}, 100);

When the field is of type Text, the above code works fine but when its of type Text Area , the field is not getting disabled.

WBS and Milestone at program level

We are implementing program management module and need to replicate the project plan at program level also which will be call as program plan tab.

We need to have WBS elements and Milestones at program level similar to what is there at project level( project plan) as shown below

Is it possible to create this at program level.

LDAP integation with Aras

Hello,

We need to integrate Aras with our organization LDAP.

I followed the windows authentication guide, but that is only for SSO set up, which takes the LOGON_USER variable. I dont want LOGON_USER but any user can fill in the login id and password. and then that will connect with LDAP to match the user.

What are the steps which we need to follow.

How to we connect to the LDAP (custom hook).

Assigning a participant for a task based on Role

Hello Experts,

Is it possible to assign a task to a participant based on the role in Aras.

For example I have a workflow process in which three participants A,B, and C are assigned as Change Control Board member. When the process goes to review task, all these three members get notification about the Sign off in their in basket. I want to restrict this behaviour and select only specific member for review so that the task is assigned to that particular member only.

This is scenario possible ?. If yes then any help is highly appreciated.
