Disable more than one text field on the form

Hi Community,

I am using a code from the "Disable Form Fields"-blog (https://community.aras.com/b/english/posts/disable-form-fields/) in one of my methods. In the test phase I realized that the code for the text field only works on one field.

I tried to call all the required fields in the brackets, but it always used only one field:

var input = getFieldByName("part", "part_number", "quantity");
input.getElementsByTagName("input")[0].disabled = true;

How can I easily disable multiple fields at the same time on the form?

Show property of a relationship item on the parent item's search grid

Hi,

Here is the use case I am trying to implement -

Item A is the parent item and Item B is the related item. Assume Item AB is the relationship item between the 2. On Item AB I have a few properties (let's say prop1, prop2 prop3) defined and I want these to be shown on Item A's search grid.

For a unique combination of an instance of Item A and Item B there will be a unique relationship item Item AB. The intent is to show the property values of Item AB on Item A's search grid which will be different for different instances of Item A. So if there are 100 Item A instances showing in the search grid, each one row should show a different prop1, prop2 and prop3 value.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I have a drop down list exposed on the main form on the Simple ECO itemtype. I have another list property defined on the Affected Item itemtype which is a relationship. Based on what is selected in the main form, I would like the list on he Affected Item to be filtered to show only the values relevant to the selection made on the main form. Filtered list don't work very well on a relationship. It would be helpful to get some ideas and probably some pseudo code on how to implement the solution.
