Aras 12: Error: Cannot access OAuth Server due to 500 (Internal Server Error)

Hi,

We are getting an error as "Error: Cannot access OAuth Server due to 500 (Internal Server Error)" while accessing Aras12. Please help me how to resolve this error.I'm attaching screenshot for your reference.

Issues with file upload from innovator when the vault is pointing to shared access mounted (SMB) folder of storage account

Hello,

For our use case we want to use the SMB mounted drive as a location for vault folder.
we created storage account with file share on Azure. Mounted file share where vault server is installed. Configured vault location to mounted file share. When we tried to create document and add a file in it while saving we getting below error:

“Could not find a part of the path Y:\fileshare\InnovatorSolutions\.transactions\d22d04738bf4a5fe735c0b9468b063e2\A\78\9FB3C2C504F22851D6B97F74C71B8”

If anyone know how can I make it work successful, please provide your assistance. Thank you.

How to get databases of WebLink by Rest Api?

Is there any api to get related databases running on http Link of webserver?

Example:

URL: http//aras-server/InnovatorServer/

If not api any other way of getting related database.

3D CAD to PDF Conversion Task failed.

Hello,

I am trying 3D CAD to PDF conversion in aras innovator 12.

Conversion task is failing with error message as "'OnConvert' event handler failed, for more details look at the handler error field."

It look like conversion task is failing for 'OnConvert' Event which call 'InvokeStandardConvertor' method.

Someone Please help me out, Why Conversion Task is failing?

Query on SMTP set up

Hello All,

I want to use send grid as SMTP server in Aras. To achieve this we have provided send grid server in InnovatorServerConfig.xml file like <Mail SMTPServer="smtp.sendgrid.net"/>.

Even after configuring this I won’t be able to send email.

Then I have configured SMTP E-mail for InnovatorServer in IIS by specifying credentials of send grid. After configuring send grid in IIS it’s respective entries came in web.config file at C:\Program Files (x86)\Aras\Innovator\Innovator like below

Now I successfully able to send email notification.

Requirement: Is there any way that I can send mail notification using send grid without configuring send grid in IIS ? If yes please provide details steps to do that.

1. Do I need to provide additional details about send grid in <Mail SMTPServer="smtp.sendgrid.net"/> Within InnovatorServerConfig.xml ? If yes please provide example.

2. While looking at different configuration files within the innovator we found that , there is some configuration related to “NotificationServer.aspx” in web.config file within C:\Program Files (x86)\Aras\Innovator\Innovator\Server like below.

Disabling "Create New Item" Button.

Hello All,

Is there any way to remove or disable the create new item button from UI.
My use case is, I am creating items from the backend code using IOM api and want to restrict Item creation from UI.

For disabling button I can remove can add from item but in that case I can't create items using IOM api as well.
Need some other way remove or disable create button from UI only. Someone please help.

I defined an ItemType named "Cost".
This is a relationship without related item.
There is nothing in the "Can Add" of this ItemType because nobody can create a "Cost". There are only created by code.

Hi Guys, I am trying to get the list of all properties in the Aras Item and their Data Type like String, boolean, Integer, date E.g. Part Item type is having property as item_number and it's data type is "String". Is there any way to get these datatypes in aras or any AML script for this? Thanks.

Hello,

I want to add one column in relationship grid and that column contains some hyperlink text or image. I want to handle the "onClick" event on that particular column/cell.

What I did, I am able to add column in relationship grid by adding property(action) to relationship as shown in screenshot.
My question is: How can I add hyperlink text or image in that column which I added?
Is there any way to handle the "onClick" event on column/cell?

Converting Word file to pdf.

I have seen Aras CAD to pdf converter, It's working as I am able to convert CAD file to pdf. Now I want Word file to be converted into pdf.

Is there any way to convert word file to pdf in Aras Innovator? If yes can I get documentation related to this?

Issue While Installing Aras Enterprise search

Hello,
I have installed Innovator 12.0 SP5 and Aras Enterprise search as per the instruction in the installation guide. I have installed everything on a single machine. Installation went smoothly till Zookeeper, Cluster Service and Solr nodes. But I hit the problem while installing Agent Service [ ArasESAgentSetup.msi ]

At the Solr Admin Setting window, I am getting error “The remote server returned an error (404) Not Found, as shown in the Error Screenshot below.

Hello,
I have installed Innovator 12.0 SP5 and Aras Enterprise search as per the instruction in the installation guide. I am installing zookeeper, solr and agent on different machine. I am able to install Zookeeper and Solr nodes smoothly. Also confirms the solr installation by localhost:8983/.../ url. I am getting solr dashboard.
when I try to install ArasESAgentSetup.msi I am getting error as "Internal server error: Can't create user "solradmin"".

Please help me out regarding the issue.
