BOM access control

Hi Community,

We want to have differecnt access control to different BOM. For example, BOM A can only be accessed by person A, and BOM B can only be accessed by person B. Currently, we cannot seperate the accesses from different BOMs. Could anyone tell me how to realize this requirement?

How to control BOM download permissions

Hi Community,

We would like to control BOM download permissions. There is a function in Aras to export BOM to Excel or Word as showned in the below screenshot. Can we control this permission so that only permited person can use this menu? Do we need change program codes? If yes, which method should be used to realize this control?

How to make each assignee visible to all assignees during workflow activity review

Hi Community,

Let me explain my question in this way: For example, there are 5 activities in a workflow. But the assignees before the last activity cannot see all assignees of the workflow, he/she only can see the assignees before his/her activity. How to make each assignee visible to all assignees when he/she review the activity?

How to add the part multi-level BOM functions to a new part object type

Hi Community,

We created a new part object, and hope that the new part object have the same multil-level BOM functions as the OOTB part object. I added "Part Multi-level BOM" relationship type to the new part object, but the expected multi-level BOM structure didn't display. I don't know why. Does someone know how to solve the issue? Aras license issues

Hi community,

Our Aras server has two network cards for network redundancy, and each network card has a MAC address. But the issue is that Aras license will disappear if we restart the server. Therefore, we need to apply a new license from Aras and redeploy the license again. I guess that this may because the MAC binding with the license is changed after server restarting. To avoid reapply a new license next time, we plan to try keeping the MAC the same as the MAC before server restarting. Will the old license still work after restarting in the way without new license application?

BTW, we are using free version of 14. Can the new license application only be accessed by subscription users? Can Aras partner apply the license of version 14?

How to update the certificate files

Hello,

There are some certificates files of Aras software. The expiration date is only one year. This means that we have to update these certificates every year, otherwise, we cannot use the software. Does anyone know how to update the certificates and extend their expiration date? Can it be extended more longer than one year?

Does anyone know how to display the part quantities in the Structural browser of Bill of Meterial as below? Now, only the part number can be displayed, but without quantities.
