At the current project i am working on we are having the problem with a specific group of users accessing files in the file vault.

The current setup look like this:

There are two separate user groups one is connecting to the application through the internal corporate network like this:

https://internalserver.domain.com/ProductData

While the other user group connects through a loadbalancer that then reroute the traffic towards the internal server.

https://externalUsers.domain.com/ProductData

The vault that we have configured looks like this:

https://internalserver.domain.com/vault/vaultserver.aspx

So when the internal users creates a file it gets transferred to the vault with the located url set to https://internalserver.domain.com/vault/vaultserver.aspx.

The problem then occurs when the external user is trying to get file from the vault. Because then he gets rerouted directly to the internal URL which he is not able to access.

He needs to go through the load balancer URL to access the vault.

So i am looking for a solution that changes the URL at runtime passed to the client when an external user are trying to get a file. So that i the external user is rerouted towards the loadbalancer like this https://externalUsers..domain.com/vault/vaultserver.aspx.

We cannot set up a replication vault either because if we set up a vault with the external url then it wont be reachable due to only the external users specific IP is allowed through the load balancer and the vault servers are located in the same network.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to do this or any other suggestions on how to solve this problem.
