Revisions/Item Versions appearing blank

Hi all,

Created a new ItemType. Initially, when viewing an instance, Views > Revisions displays the Item Versions. However, after creating a few items, it then appears blank, as illustrated here:

I haven't changed anything (as far as I know), it just stops rendering after some time. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Aras Version 11 SP9.

Validating Input/Partially Restrict Editing of Fields

Hi all,

I have a checklist (for users to fill out) in the form of a table as illustrated here:

It is a HTML table housed in a Formatted Text field. I would like to prevent users from modifying the checklist items (first column of the table) or perform some sort of validation of the checklist items to ensure that they haven't be deformed.

Having the items and the entries in a different field (and then disabling editing of the items field) is not an option as the list requires scrolling, and that would cause the items and entries to become misaligned.

Is there a way to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Hello all,

We are currently using Version 11 SP 9 of Aras Innovator. Is there an inbuilt way to schedule/automate tasks and activities? An example of such task would be to schedule automated Excel extracts at the end/start of every month.

Revision List Pop-Up Box Too Small

Hello,

I've created an item type that is versionable. When viewing the revisions list on the item, however, the pop-up box that appears is very small and you need to scroll horizontally to view all the fields. Is there a way to make it bigger?

"This" String Becomes "srcElement"

Hi all,

I have created a form that looks like this:

The table is pre-filled via a Form Event method. This is a checklist that the user fills out for document reviews. Clicking on the New Version button triggers a Field Event method that clears the table and fills the table with fresh (but same) checklist items. However, on clicking the button and triggering the method, all instances of the string "this" becomes "srcElement".

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to prevent it?

How do I set it to display the value of another property on the item?

Modifying a Reverse View

Hi all,

On a document container, we have a tab with the view of all the DCOs that affect it:

Because this isn't the standard view, the fields/properties that are/aren't shown here do not correlate to their visibility on the DCO item type.

My question is, how do you add or remove fields/properties to this view?

Please let me know if you need more information. We are using Aras Innovator Version 11 SP9.

Document Revision List of Changed Document Files

Hi all,

Is it possible, for a document, to provide a view of a list of document revisions where each revision on the list only describes changes to the attached document file(s)? On Version 11 SP 9, there is a "Revisions" selection under "Views" menu, but this shows all revisions including that of document container changes (changes to the title, description, etc). Looking for a list of changes to the attached file(s) only.

According to someone that I used to work with, whom I can no longer contact, this feature used to exist in a legacy version of Innovator where there was an additional menu item "File Revisions" under "Views" menu.

Upgrading Aras Innovator Version 11 Service Pack Versions

Hi all,

We are currently on Aras Innovator Version 11.0 SP9. From my understanding, the latest service pack available for Version 11.0 is SP15.

My question is, is it still possible to upgrade from SP9 to SP15? If so, what would be the effort/duration required to do so? Is it a complicated procedure or a relatively simple one?
