How to Convert Item Type from Non versionable to Versionable

Hello All..

I have Item Type "A" which is not a versionable initially. Created around 1000 records for this item type and now I need to create revisions to this and edited Item type to "Versionable". While trying to edit item type, it gives error as below.

Support of "none" versioning discipline for items is not implemented.

Am surprised that, do Aras have no possiblity to change non version item type to versionable??

Hi,

We are using IOM.dll, Aras.Cryptography.dll, Aras.Diagnostics.dll, Aras.Net.dll, Aras.OAuth.Configuration.dll, Aras.OAuth.Model.dll, Aras.OAuth.TokenClient.dll, Aras.OAuth.TokenValidation.dll for our integration with Aras tool. Please let me know if there is any API by which we can get field details of a particular Entity. Say entity is "PR", so we need to get fields of that entity(Title, Application Environment, Description Of The Problem ... etc.).

Getting Error "Cannot delete a multiple implementation item. You must go to the source item and delete that."..... while deleting a poly item.

Hello,

I am getting the following error message while I am deleting a poly-source item.

Message-> "Cannot delete a multiple implementation item. You must go to the
source item and delete that.".

If anyone has any idea it would be of great help.

Why don't we have "can add" property in Permissions tab for an ItemType ?

Why are we having Can Add as a separate property ? why don't we have it in the permissions tabs along with other operations ?

and why do we have checkbox for can add again ?
