Hi All,

I am working with graph navigation but don't see where to select parameter (like tree grid view). How to use parameters in graph navigation? And is it possible to customize more like adding action to the context menu?

How to configure Aras 12 restful api as simple as Aras 11

RestFul api on Aras 11 just need USERNAME, PASSWORD, DATABASE

But in Aras 12, we need to request token, then AUTHORIZATION + USERNAME, PASSWORD, DATABASE

With postman it doesn't matter but with my other system it doesn't work

How to configure Aras 12 restful api as simple as Aras 11?

PDF and Image file handling

Hi,

On my latest installation of Aras open (12 SP9) clicking on pdf and image file (png, jpeg, etc) Files attached to Document item type automatically downloads it. Changing Chrome setting related to how PDF files are handled or using different browsers seems to have no effect.

I would like PDF and image files to open in a separate browser window as it did on an older installation of Aras 12 SP0. Are there any server related settings that control how these file types are handled out of box?

Aras 12 couldn't view a viewable file

Hi Everyone,

In the same Browse,

Aras 11sp12, click on viewable file (2D PDF), it will open as popup windows.

But, with Aras 12sp9, click on viewable, it will download to local folder instead of open it :(

Maybe i miss something in the configuration Aras 12. Pls help!

My web Asp.net login failed

Hi everyone,

I have to make a web with ASP.NET and published to host http://inn.ddns.com/myweb. The web accessed normally.

The login form has:

Server address: http://inn.ddns.com/myaras
database: INN-TEST
username: admin
password: innovator

--> When a press login button, nothing happen (no alert failed or succeed, no error string)

If I replaced server address by local name (http://inn-srv/myaras), It working fine.

I try to config IIS server, open port, .. but not succeed. Pls help me.

Run a bat file with argument via server method

I would like to run a bat file with argument on server via server method. I saw the same topic on forum in several year ago but they also have no solution.

upload a simple file to vault

Hi everyone,

I try to make an app with aras.iom by C#. I want to upload a file to vault with code:

Item item_File_thumb = this.inn.newItem("File", "add");
item_File_thumb.setProperty("filename", myFilename);
item_File_thumb.attachPhysicalFile(myFilepath);

Item item_File_thumb_result = item_File_thumb.apply();

...

My app is stuck at apply() so it's not return any error.

Then, I try another way:

item_File_thumb.setProperty("checkedout_path", myDir);

but it still not working. After Checkin(), everything is paused. because no return error so I do not know what's wrong.

Currency format in form and grid

Hi all, Currently, I use Aras 11 sp9. My item has a property with data type = decimal. I want to make format with thousand separate, for ex: when I type in form = 100000, aras will show 100,000, it's also show in main grid and relationship grid. How can I do that? I thinks it's just a option such as properties formatting. I hope I do not need create any methods :)

get the checkbox status of versionable Item

I have a problem with get property for versionable Item. My server method is trigger with event onAfterVersion Method code: 'Create object innovator Dim innovator As Innovator = Me.newInnovator 'Get current item "part" Dim partItem As Item = innovator.newItem(Me.getType()) partItem.setID(Me.getID()) partItem.setAction("get") partItem.setAttribute("select", "inn_is_total_cost") Dim partItem_re As Item = partItem.apply() Dim isTotalCost As String = partItem_re.getProperty("inn_is_total_cost") I try to lock part > modify something > unlock part (increased version) but isTotalCost is always return value of previous version??? I think it should be value of latest version. I have tried to use config_id and is_current = 1 but it does not working. :(
