BOM access control

Hi Community,

We want to have differecnt access control to different BOM. For example, BOM A can only be accessed by person A, and BOM B can only be accessed by person B. Currently, we cannot seperate the accesses from different BOMs. Could anyone tell me how to realize this requirement?

Hello, where can i find the list of change type selections which are in "Choose change item" currently there are 5 selections Simple ECO ECR ECN etc I would like to rename some of them, any help? Thanks!

Hyperlink to My InBasket

I would like to make a hyperlink to My InBasket, something like this: <a href="'ArasServerUrl/.../default.aspx InBasket</a> What is the URL for My InBasket? Is there any documentation I can read on how to create hyperlinks to different locations inside Aras? I want the URL to work even if the user does not have My InBasket as starting page.

Hide / Filter result rows

Is it possible to filter/hide relationship tab rows if one of the fields meets a certain criteria? For example, if there was a field that was titled "should_we_hide" and if the value was "yes" we would want to hide that result and properties from showing. If the value was "no" then we would display the result. Thanks in advance.

How To Get Single Part From Collection Of Items

I have a collection of items and I want to retrieve single item from that -- If I write - return item_collection.getItemByIndex(0); It is giving whole list of Items rather than the one present at 0. Don't know why is it behaving like this.

Changing Default Functions When an Item is Saved

I want to have a time stamp for each unique Related Item for a particular Item. So I set up a simple method to save the parent, any time a specific field is changed on the related item. That way the modified_on field is accurate to the minute. The issue is I do not want the form to reset to default on every save. I just want it to stay as is. Any suggestions?

The form have two colum. Col A filed type is Itemtype. Col B filed type is Listbox Multi Select. When I chose A, then B dynamic show list . How can I dynamic set data source for field type (Listbox Multi Select)? Thanks.

Internationalization

Hi All I am using Aras 11 SP9 I want Internationalization , I have set the Locale and Language and copy \Innovator\Client\xml.zh \Innovator\Client\xml.zt \Innovator\Client\Solutions\PLM\xml.zt \Innovator\Client\Solutions\Project\xml.zt \Innovator\Client\Solutions\QP\xml.zt and restart the IIS. When I re-login Aras, the Main menu still English I check the Aras 11 SP5 there have the files of \Innovator\Client\xml.zt\main_toolbar.xml but I cannot found it in the SP9 How can I Internationalization(main menu) in Aras 11 SP9 ?

File Check Out After Creation CAD

Hi All, I'm trying for checking out attached File(just Viewable File PDF) in CAD to Server Machine using AfterAdd Server Event of CAD ItemType, to push to another app as a record. I fill CAD Data and attached file and save CAD. Then, I get this issue (ServerFile with id XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX cannot be found in any of its containers. File with id XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX cannot be found in any of its containers). I thought Files are already in the Vault Server at AfterAdd Server Event , really it wasn't. Can some one give any idea,please? Or Can I get Vault Server's physical file location and upload directly directly? Thanks, Thiha Swe Myanmar

hi i want to set property as keyed name of item type but property data type is foreign i create item A having property "bal_part" which data type is item having data source Part item create another property "bal_partname" which data type is foreign having data source Part item and foreign property "name" of bal_part i set keyed name of item A as 1 for "item_no" of property and 2 for "bal_partname" property of Item A but in keyed name it only shows item_no, not showing name of Part Item

configuration propagation to another environment

How to clear relationship on new Revision?

I have an ItemType A with a RelationShip to another ItemType B. I want all relations to stay within a Revision. But when a new Revision is created for ItemType A I do not want the old relations to be carried over to the new Revision. Is there any "build in" feature in Aras to handle this or must i do it with code? My idea was to clear the relations on a server event, but I can not find any event "onRevision". I can only find onVersion but that is not called when I go to a new Revision. Any suggestions?

Send return email to the user in workflow after approve.

Hi Guys, I am trying to send email from workflow. When i assign item to user then sending mail with all details to that user. Once that user approves it, then i want to get email as “Item is approved” or send email reverse to the owner or creator. I tried to check the email notification events like “OnClosed”,”OnVote” etc, but i am not getting any emails even it is approved by assigned user. Can you please help me on it and suggest.
