I received the following email but the link to the "Form" doesn't direct me to a form.

Document Classification Changed to Change Controlled

We had to change an existing document classification from being not change controlled (ECN controlled) to now be change controlled (must be approved on an ECN.)

Now I need to update all of the documents that have this classification so they have the correct lifecycle map and the "Engineering Change Control" form field displays "Yes" instead of "No".

I temporarily made these documents editable, but when I click the "Edit" button and click refresh, I get an error that states the documents "Classification property cannot be changed."

Is this a core function preventing this action or is there a method that is preventing this?

AML Script to Check for Two or More Released Revisions of the Same Document Number

Can someone help me search for all documents that have more than one released revision? I found a couple of these and I need to check to see if there are more of them and the document numbers. Is there an AML script I could use?

How to get part numbers from part IDs

I have a query that returned a large number of part IDs that have a single eBOM item ID.

To get the part IDs converted to part numbers I used the AML "idlist" function.

How can I get the part BOM IDs converted to part numbers and keep the relationship with the part number they belong to?

Note: My IDs are a long string separated by commas.

I'm having trouble creating a query to view CNs that have the target part as an affected item. My results display a CN for every where used item in my list instead of for the where used target part number. What am I doing wrong?

I need to find all of the part numbers that have been on a CN that had the part disposition of either "Scrap" or "Repair".

I can find the CN numbers but it doesn't list the affected part part numbers. How do I get the affected part numbers added to this AML script?

Where Used Part / Document Names and Current State

Is it possible to add the part / document Name and current state to the part and document Where Used functions? That way we can see which parts / documents listed are currently released and their names.

My InBasket View as Administrator

I login as an Administrator,
go to My InBasket,
remove the "1" from the "My Assignments" column blue search bar,
then click Search
I get a list of all the active CNs, who is currently assigned to each and what task they are assigned to.

I would like to give this ability to a manager but not make them a full administrator. Is there a way to give them this ability only?

Reporting - Who is currently assigned to the workflow.

I am trying to create a self-service report that shows who is current assigned to each CN (ECN) and what state each CN is currently in. I have admin privileges, but I am new to the self-service reporting feature. I also have access to the aftermarket "InnovatorAdmin" app if someone has AML script that would give me this same information.

Control of Manufacturing Certifications - Examples: HAZLOC, SIL, PED, etc.

How do you control your manufacturing certifications such as HAZLOC, SIL and PED? Do you create a Document for each certification and add the files to that container then relate (link) that document to the parts involved?

We need to be able to search for the various properties each certification has. Do you have individual fields on your document form that are specific for certifications? (I have version 11).

Method to delete the effective date in a document that is in the preliminary state

I have a document in preliminary state that has an effective date and I need to delete it (preliminary documents should not have an effective date until it is released).

Please give me a C# server method that will delete the effective date in this Preliminary document. It is a controlled document. I do not know how to write in C# but I do know how to copy your method into a new method, create the document action and add it to the document item type.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Copy the related CR "product" text field value to the "product" text field on the CE form

Our CR and CE forms both have a "Product" text field.

The originator of the CR enters the product number in the CR product field.

I need that value to copy to the product text field on the CE when the CE is being created.

The CR is on the CE as the related CR and the product field is shown in the CE related CR pane.

The CE item type relationship name is a_CE_a_CR for the related CR

Can someone help me with the code that will copy the product value of the related CR to the product text field on the CE form?
