Batch Loader Download Location / Source Code

Where do I download the files for the batch loader?

In the past I ran it from the server itself but I don't have access to the server right now.

Can I just download the files and run it from my computer?

I can't seem to find any information, everything seems to assume you already have access to the application.

I'd also be interested in taking a look at the source code, if it is open source

Hello,

When attempting to download Manufacturing Process Planning version 2025 Release (14.0.3) via Aras Update, the "Download is failed."

Aras Update logs:

Opened C:\ProgramData\Aras\ArasUpdate\MPP and attempted to manually extract 14.03.130, and extract fails:

Tested the archive for 14.03.130 with 7-Zip, and it is reported as not an archive:

Additionally, this issue was replicated on several systems, and I attempted to run Aras Update as Administrator.

Are there any other options for getting the archive? I am not a subscriber, so I do not have FTP access.

How to customize the login function

Hello,

We are currently implementing user authentication (ID and password) through an external web page that was developed separately from the standard Aras interface.

After successful authentication, we would like to redirect users to the Aras main page by logging in via a URL that includes the user ID, password, and database name.

If anyone is familiar with how to implement this kind of customization, we would greatly appreciate your advice.
For reference, our Aras Innovator version is Release 35.

Release 36 Bug Fix: Search Grids Remain Blank and Strange Horizontal Scroll Behaviour

Hello Innovators,

In Release 36 we were facing some strange behaviour:

Some grids remaining blank even though items where returned from the search query
Horizontal scrolling on grids would result in columns being mixed and glitching

After some debugging, we found the issue was caused by 3 files. Attached you find those fixed files and a readme.txt on how to implement them.

CUI Table views not working

We have found a strange issue with the tool. We have found nothing in the available installation guides and support forums, and we would be very grateful if you could help us figure out the underlying issue here.

We have an installation of Aras Innovator 2024 ( 14.0.25.40942) that was working for a while, but last week, it started to throw error messages whenever we open any table view (e.g. the Requirement table), or we use any user interface feature related to this view, e.g., change pagination size, select a requirement, etc.

In each case, the error message relates to the favoriteLayoutData settings being not found. More specifically, the following message was emitted:

> The method 'cui_common_layouts_init' failed. favoriteLayoutData.settings is undefined Client Side Error

We have tried to reset the user preferences and try it out with another user, different browsers, and cleaning up locally stored cookies, but the issue persisted. We have also checked the server logs but have not found anything that might be helpful.

The issue breaks the user interface quite severely, making it basically unusable, but have no idea where to look for possible causes.

After Installation of ARAS I am getting this Blank Screen, How to Resolve It ?

We had an old server fail. We have a backup of it but do not have the MAC address from the previous machine. Therefore, or license doesn't work on the new machine with the restored backup. I need someone from Aras to reach out so that I can get a replacement license that works with the new MAC address. Otherwise, we lose a lot of important data.

Hi community,

some may have noticed that the forum was recently updated.
Due to the update, a lot of people were accidentally marked as abusive accounts. This was fixed, but if you´re still affected -> tell Aras!

Did you notice anything else that needs to be repaired?

E.g. I noticed that the search bar on the top has a corrupted stylesheet (white text on white background). So using the search bar is currently a bit painful.

This thread is intended to collect these kind of user feedback. Most of the forum features work as intended from my pov. But if you noticed something not working as usual, either tell Aras or report in this thread and then we send it as collective feedback :).

We are currently using Version 11 SP 9 of Aras Innovator. Is there an inbuilt way to schedule/automate tasks and activities? An example of such task would be to schedule automated Excel extracts at the end/start of every month.

How do I set it to display the value of another property on the item?

Cannot see item type parts already created

Hello, I am new to aras and just blind testing the application. I have created several users, added a few fields in the item type part and edited its form. Test create a part, saved and done. When i went back to the part search page which defaults all items, its not showing. However when i try to add the same item id to a new part its showing a duplicate already exists. I can add this part that i created to my model but cannot search for it or access it anywhere else. can anyone help me ?

note that if you get this message when you try to activate a feature it means you have reached the maximum activation and you shall ask for more.

Updating user role

I tried to give some role like config management, component engineer, change specialist II role to user. But the part creation and Product creation feature is not getting activated. Is there any wait time it takes for the role to get updated or something? It doesnt seem to updating the roles as per selection.

Auto generate part number

Hi,

I want to use the sequences feature to generate a new part number according to some convention. I tried to edit the part form and change the item number field type to sequence but there is no option such as sequence.

Pls. find attached screenshot.

Can any one tell me how to link it with the part so that a part number is automatically generated when I create a new Part.
