Aras search grid edit OOTB issue

I have modified the below change in code tree file Innovator\Client\javascript\aras_object.ts 

Is this right way to fix this issue?

Which Innovator version do you use?

I tried to replicate the issue in Release 2023, but I get 1 and 0 instead of true/false.
It´s not easy for me to replicate this one in a newer version cause a certain PLM company discontinued their open release without offering suitable alternatives.

This is what I tried:

1. Edit boolean value in search grid:

2. Check result - Text4 shows the boolean value as string. It´s identical to the value that is stored in the SQL database.

aras_object.ts looks identical to your shown code! But there are a few elements that are used for the grid logic.

Maybe you discovered a brand new bug in Innovator!

This property is setting 0 when you click on "done editing" action. Can you please confirm this? I have checked this issue in Aras24, 33 & 35.

Can you please confirm initial value is empty & then it is saving 1 in UI. 

For me it's not working I'm using Release 24 Build 14.0.10.36415

If existing value is 1 & again you are making 1 then it is working. Check it for existing value is 0 & updated value is 1. 

When I create a new Manufacturer, the initial value is empty. When I save the Manufacturer without ticking the box, I get a 0 automatically.

BUT: You didn´t mention that you use the SQL ItemType!!!!! It has it´s own logic. 

It is not working for all item type. SQL Item type was handy so I gave this example 

I have checked the video in that video initial value is 1. 

In my case it doesn´t make a difference if I start with 0 or 1 as initial value. I so far weren´t able to reproduce anything unusual. 

I am still more surprised about your first question regarding true/false instead of 0/1. This would be a real error in Innovator.
