is there a way to refresh the notifications, withouth waiting for the interval set in MessageCheckInterval variable?

maybe you can expand the Method used for the button so it automatically updates as soon user click it.
I assume Method "GetNotificationMessages" get´s the notifications, but I never have used this one by myself.
Main problem: The Method seems to be triggered from the core. You not just can reuse it as-is. There´s is a lot of try&error in my idea.
Hope somebody knows something better!
