What was your first or strangest job?
Not a strange job, but an interesting and fun one. During my college years, I was studying to be a Packaging Engineer, a new and emerging field. I worked as a Packing Analyst where I would measure, inspect, take apart, and destroy packages with both our product and competitors product packaging.

What do you like most about your current job?
Aside from the great environment and fantastic colleagues I work with, I am really excited about the elegant design of the underlying platform of Innovator. And as a course developer, I get to write about and experience sharing it with others.

What is your greatest accomplishment, work or personal?
I extended myself past my personal comfort zone and I completed a Tough Mudder event.

Tell us a fun fact about you.
I like watching Hallmark Christmas movies each year.

Pick three words to describe yourself.
Organized, reliable, steady.

What is one thing on your bucket list?
My wife and I had planned to go to either Alaska or Iceland on our Honeymoon over 33 years ago. That never happened. So, we'd still like to go to Iceland sometime soon.

What is your favorite quote?
A condensed quote from Bessie Anderson Stanley's 1904 poem: Live, Laugh, Love.

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
Kayaking, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, and walks with my wife and our dogs.

You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?
RUN! I could barely carry a tune in a paper bag.

If you could hang out with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Either one or both of my two half sisters. With a big age difference of 15 & 17 years, and with me in the USAF for 8 years while they were growing up, we did not and do not get to spend much time with each other as one is in AZ and the other is in PA.
